Statement on the passing of Rep. Cynthia 鈥淐indy鈥 Schreiber-Beck from the 香蕉福利直播 University System (NDUS) and the State Board of Higher Education (SBHE):
鈥淲e are saddened to learn about the passing of Representative Cynthia 鈥淐indy鈥 Schreiber-Beck, who devoted herself to making 香蕉福利直播 a better place for students and learning as vice chair of the House Education Committee. As a legislator, Cindy was crucial in establishing the Workforce Education Innovation Grant fund, which was given a $10 million appropriation this session for our 香蕉福利直播 University System institutions. The program allows the 香蕉福利直播 State Board of Higher Education to award funds to institutions to create or enhance educational programs that address state workforce needs,鈥 NDUS Interim Chancellor Brent Sanford said. 鈥淐indy鈥檚 legacy as an advocate for higher education will not be forgotten and our thoughts and deepest condolences are with her family, friends and those who have been lifted up through her vision and leadership.鈥
